ASRF Nationals Bendigo 2017
A large group of Club members attended the Nationals this year.
A small group camped at the venue, while a larger group of vanners stayed at the Golden Square caravan park and another group stayed at the Golden Square Motel.
The weather was good for the entire weekend and saw a record attendance of both entrants and public.
Bay Rodders ran the Drive By Judging Novelty event which saw some imaginative acts as well as some ordinary ones.
The overall reaction was good and it will be interesting to see if the concept is used in the future.
A number of club members participated in other events with Bill Duyvestyn winning the Spark Plug race and Andrew and Kathy Hall runners up in the Gold Bag Race.
Ray and Jan Pearman in their 56 Buick received a Top 20 trophy. Congratulations Ray and Jan.
